Time goes so fast and once again, the Hong Kong chefs were lucky to be the very first batch to sample the excitement and atmosphere, life music from the Notenhobler band from Bavaria, together with great authentic food cooked up by the Marco Polo Hotel ( thank you Chef Heinz) and of course the german beer and friendship

Over 80 chef’s and friends graced the occasion together with our colleagues from La Rose Noire on one side; who brought a additional 50 people and Bayern Gourmet with 30 more good folks on the other side.

We also seen so many people again; who just 4 days ago had supported us on the International Chefs day last Friday in Tai Po. Thank you all.

All the in Hong Kong residing former and current presidents were present and we also met some of the newest chefs in town. Welcome to our great City.

Needless to say; with the well established Notenhobler band and all the members; we had Stimmung und Gemuetlichkeit with such gusto in no time, and many of us will return to this fest; which has its official opening on the 29 October and will run until middle of November every evening.

Na dann Prost

Thanks go to Miss Winne Lau from Prêt-A-Manger for the great support by providing sandwiches and drinks, committee members, trainees and organizer Eddy Leung.

18 teams from many sections of the community participated, not with the goal of only being the winner but to raise money for a good cause and have fun.

Therefore participation and caring for the unfortunate should be always in our mind.
